About Us

Next Level -> Next Step’s mission is to empower leaders and provide solutions utilizing proven methods and best practices in knowledge building. Because we believe in sustained superior performance: We specialize in discovering strengths, changing habits and transforming leadership practices to close gaps and drive high levels of engagement. To engage in this leadership triathlon, we leverage the primary teachings and proven practices from Gallup® CliftonStrengths®, FranklinCovey® Seven Habits of Highly Effective People®, Wiley® The Leadership Challenge®, and Lencioni's Five Behaviors of Cohesive Teams. We are driven to maximize results through coaching, consulting and facilitation.

Next Level -> Next Step™ takes a fun, innovative approach in inspiring greatness for adults within organizations of all sizes.

Part of NLNS’s mission is to encourage Paying It Forward on a regular basis. As such, we coach one manager per week (Fridays 3 pm or Saturdays noon EDT) at the cost of this individual agreeing to *Pay It Forward in the future.

Managers can initiate a scheduled session by sharing their full 34-theme Report via the GALLUP portal and simultaneously sending an email to rachel@nextlevelnextstep.com

We live in a fast-paced ever-changing world. Our philosophy is to hold onto a foundational principle-centered approach, meeting people right where they are, and working in partnership to get to the next level – one step at a time. We realize there are no shortcuts, no quick fixes and believe in perseverance. Change takes intentional effort, whether personal, managerial, organizational or cultural.

Instead of focusing on improving weaknesses, focus on what’s right in a person. Focus on strengths. Focus on habits. Focus on empowering leadership that challenges, inspires, and rewards the future.

Next Level -> Next Step™ is a global and recognized leader in focusing exclusively on strengths, habits and leadership. Our solutions change lives. Our solutions transform organizations; they are results-focused and are primarily research-based, substantiated empirically by millions over decades.

Next Level -> Next Step’s Chief Evangelist is Dr. Rachel Monteverdi. Rachel has taught all levels of leaders, managers, and business professionals in urban and rural areas, and is certified to teach more than 24 content areas.

Rachel’s strengths: An achiever who believes in excellence (maximizer). Proactively, strategically and positively driving growth and initiatives by seeking input first, then best practices, and innovation (learner). Believing we are all in this together (connectedness), Rachel works collaboratively to develop a strengths-based approach for significant results.

As a national award winner in team facilitation, she enjoys partnering with others who specialize in (and like to have fun while) helping people put knowledge to work!

A note from Rachel Monteverdi: As a reminder, my expertise is in strengths, habits and leadership.

I believe in human potential.  In teaching and in high performance coaching, my focus is on helping professionals reach their fullest potential in all areas of their lives.

To my core, I believe every human being has been gifted talents. How do we recognize raw talents and work to develop them, intentionally? How do we turn our talents into our super powers? Those are questions to ponder

From there, I believe in the power of habits. They either work for you or they don’t. How are your habits helping or hindering you?

Finally, I believe each one of us has the opportunity to be a leader –within our family, within our community, in both work and in life. Which leadership practices do you employ - or want to employ - most?

My habits & natural talents are to strategically find the most principle-centered pathways  to excellence in order for you to create a better future for yourself and those that you lead. How can I help you?
